Given that the total allowed discount on the Selling Price=7%
I.E on 36000,7% of discount is allowed
36000*7/100=21520rs
Discount on the first 20000 is 8%
Thus, 20000*8/100=1600rs
Discount allowed on next 10000 is 5%
Thus, 10000*5/100=500
Now, the main question is to find out the % discount that can be availed on next 6000rs
That, can be calculated by subtracting the remaining two discounts from the total discount=2520-1600-500=420rs
Thus the discount that can be availed on the remaining 6000rs
=420rs
Thus, the required discount% on the remaining 6000rs
Let, that % be"x" %, thus 420=6000*x/100
x=420*100/6000=7%
