Article 358 and Article 359 of Indian Constitution describe the effect of National Emergency. Article 359 deals with the suspension of  Fundamental Rights excepts Article 20 (Protection in respect of conviction for offenses) and Article 21 (Protection of life and personal liberty). Article 359 operates in case of both External as well as Internal emergency.
