AB is a diameter of a circle and C is a point situated on its circumference. CD is perpendicular on AB. If AD = 6 cm and AB = 30 cm, then find the length of CD = ?

Options:

$6 \sqrt{5}$

$5 \sqrt{6}$

Solution:

$∠ A C B = 90 º$

$D C^{2} = A D \times D B$

$6 \times 24$

$D C = 12$
