a^3 + b^3 = (a+b)^3 - 3(a+b) (Question: 269973.0 )

in soln its (a+b)^3 - 3(a+b) * 2 which is incorrect ans should be -root5

Question:

If x –  5    –  3   = 0 and y –  5    +  3   = 0, find the value of (x3 – 32 5   ) + (y3 – 3 5   ).
