Question:

In the figure below P, Q and R are point on a circle with centre O. The tangent to the circle at R interest secant PQ at T. If ∠QRT = 55° and ∠QTR = 25° find ∠POQ ?

Dear Student
as TR is the secant on the circle, thus it will meet it at the 90degree. And, thus QRO=35dg, QOR being an isosceles triangle has OQR=35 and RQT=100, OQP=45
Triangle OQP being again an isosceles triangle has the angle QPO=45
Thus angle POQ=180-(45+45)=90
