how... plz explain it....

Question:
Incomes of A, B and C are in the ratio 7 : 9 : 12 and their respective expenditure ratio 8 : 9 : 15. If A saves \(\cfrac{1}{4}\)  of his income, then ratio of their saving is –
Options:
A) 56 : 69 : 99
B) 56 : 99 : 69
C) 33 : 19 : 23
D) 15 : 28 : 27

Their way of explaination is of high level

As we know Income-Expenditure=Saving

so for A--> 7x - 8y =(7x/4) (as he saves 1/4th of his income) ==> Calculate y from here
same as B--> 9x-9y= 9(x-y) put y from equation of A
for c the procedure is same

then it comes ==> (7x/4) : 99x/32 : 69x/32
so answer is ==> 56 : 99 : 69 (after multiplying above by 32)
