No of apples plucked on

Day 1     (1+2+3) + (4+5+6) – (2+3+4+5+6)= 130+145-225 = 50

Day 2     (2+3+4)+ (5+6+7)- (3+4+5+6+7) = 150 + 140 -265 = 25

Day 3     (1+2+3) + (3+4+5) – (1+2+3+4+5+6) = 130+ 165 -240 = 55

Day 4     (2+3+4) + (4+5+6) – (2+3+4+5+6) = 150+ 145 -225 =70

Day 5     (3+4+5) + (5+6+7) – (3+4+5+6+7) = 165 + 140 -265 = 40

Day 6     (4+5+6) + (6+7+8) – (4+5+6+7+8) = 145+160-270 =35

Day 7     (5+6+7) + (7+8+9) – (5+6+7+8+9) = 140+175-250=65

Day 8     (6+7+8) +(8+9+10) – (6+7+8+9+10) = 160+155-255=60

Day 9     (4+5+6) + (7+8+9) – (4+5+6+7+8) = 145 + 175 -270 = 50

Day 10   (5+6+7) + (8+9+10) – (5+6+7+8+9) = 140 + 155 – 250 = 45
