DIRECTIONS: Read the following information and answer the questions given below.


The Maratha Mumbai, ITC Rajputana, Wildflower Hall, The Leela Mumbai, Taj lake Palace and Sher Bagh are six hotels purchased by six different businessman - Mukesh Ambani, Lakshmi Mittal, Kumar Birla, Gautam Adani, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and Anand Mahindra - in the months May, June, July, August, September and October. The order of the businessman, the hotels bought by them and the month of purchase is not necessarily in the same order.


Mukesh Ambani bought the hotel Taj lake Palace in July. The businessman who bought the hotel ITC Rajputana was the last-but-one to buy. The hotel ‘Sher Bagh’ was bought in August and Lakshmi Mittal bought hotel ‘The Maratha Mumbai’ in June. Gautam Adani bought hotel ‘The Leela Mumbai’ in May. Kumar Birla bought his hotel in August. The hotel ‘Wildflower Hall’ was not bought by Anand Mahindra.

→ It is given that Mukesh Ambani purchased hotel ‘Taj lake Palace’ in July. 

→ Lakshmi Mittal bought hotel ‘The Maratha Mumbai’ in June. 

→ Hotel ‘Sher Bagh’ was bought in August by Kumar Birla. 

→ Gautam Adani bought hotel ‘The Leela Mumbai’ in May.

→ Hotel ‘ITC Rajputana’ was the last-but-one to be purchased i.e., hotel ‘ITC Rajputana’ was purchased in September.

→ Hotel ‘Wildflower Hall’ was not purchased by Anand Mahindra. Hence, hotel ‘ITC Rajputana’ was purchased by Anand Mahindra and Rakesh Jhunjhunwala purchased hotel ‘Wildflower Hall’ in October.
