wrong solution ans should be north east (Question: 67597.0 )

according to the solution if angleB is 45 then angleC is also 45.. that means triangle DBC is an equilatteral-rightangle triangle.. so DB=DC=8... which is not satisfied the pythagoras theorm..

Question:
A car starts from a point O and travels 8 km in the east. It then turns 90o to its left and travels 6 km. Finally, it turns 45o to the left and travels 10 km. What is the relative direction of the car w.r.t. its original position?
Options:
A) North-east.
B) North.
C) North-west.
D) Cannot be determined.
Solution:

Ans: (a)




Since the initial position of car is O and the final position is C.

\(\therefore\) C is in the north direction of O.
