this question is wrong.pls dont repeat this in future

Question:

DIRECTIONS: These questions are based on the following information.

Eight persons - A, B, C, D, K, L, M and N - are sitting around a circular table facing the center but not necessarily in the same order.

(1) M is second to the right of N’s husband. No male is adjacent to M.

(2) A is third to the left of K’s wife. A is not adjacent to N’s husband.

(3) A is the mother of M. Only one person sits between A and N.

(4) N’s brother C is to the immediate right of B’s husband K.

(5) D is the brother of A and C is the father of D.

(6) Only one person sits between B and B’s son-in-law.

Who is sitting second to the left of L?

Options:
A)

K’s wife

B)

L’s wife

C)

A’s child

D)

B’s daughter

E)

M’s mother

Solution:

Ans: (a) From (1), (2) & (3), we can have the following possible arrangements.

Note:

+ ⟶ Male

- ⟶ Female

From (4) we can say that B and K are couple and B is a female and K is male.

Also we can say that C is to the immediate right of K (Both C and K are males).

From the above information we can eliminate case (i) and case (iii) (b), as we cannot place two males

i.e. C and K are adjacent to each other as N’s husband cannot be C because C is the brother of N.

Case (ii), is also eliminated, as we cannot place C and K are adjacent.

Now in case (iii) (a) we can say that K is to the immediate right of A and C is to the immediate left of K’s wife i.e. B.

From (4) and (5) we, get the following relations.

From the above relation we can say that D cannot be the husband on N.

∴ L is the husband of N.

∴ D is to the immediate right of B.

∴ The final arrangement is as follows.

The family tree is as follows.

B is second to the left of L, i.e. K’s wife.
