wrong question (Question: 130542.0 )

Please do check while compiling questions,you people have written 721 instead of 72 in the question.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: In the given question two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to Solve both the equations and Give answer if


I. 3x + 31y = 63

II. 6x + 26y = 72

Options:
A)

If x < y

B)

If x > y

C)

If x ≥ y

D)

If x ≤ y

E)

If x = y or relationship between x and y cannot be established.

Solution:

Ans: (b) 

3x + 31y = 63…. (1)

6x + 26y = 72… (2)

By solving eqn (1) and (2), we get

x=5.5 and y=1.5

Clearly, x > y
