Options:
A) $9500
B) $10100
C) $10530
D) $10800
E) None of these
Solution:

Ans(d):

The price of 1000 quintals at the rate $40 per quintal is $40000 in 2004.

Search and Production Cost = 27% of coffee seeds price = 0.27 × 40000 = $10800.
