Income here is 40 lakh . Income = Revenue

Question:
DIRECTIONS: The graph gives the profit percentages of three shops A, B and C for the six years from 2010 to 2015.

The profit of a Shop is defined as the difference between the Income and the Expenditure (where Income > Expenditure). The profit percent of a Shop is calculated with respect to the income.

If the profit of C in 2014 is 18 lakh what is the total  revenue of shop C in that year.
Options:
A) 90 lakh
B) 72 lakh
C) 58 lakh
D) 108 lakh
E) None of these
Solution:
Ans: (c)

Profit of C in 2014 = 45%

And also Profit of C in 2014 (in Rs.)= 18 lakh

∴ 45% = 18 lakh

⇒ 145% = \(\cfrac{18}{45}\) × 145

= 58 lakh

⇒ Total revenue = 58 lakh
