Q is: Wages of 10 women for 5 days is Rs.1250. The daily wage of a man is twice that of a woman. How many men must work for 8 days to earn Rs.1600?
Sol: Wage of 10w → 5days → Rs.1250
∴ 1w → 5days → Rs. 1250/10
⇒ 1w → 1day → Rs. 1250/10×5 = Rs.25
Wage of 1 M = 2 × wage of 1 w
= 2 × 25 = Rs.50
Required no. = 1600/50×8 = 4 men
