sir why 200*1/5 not 20*1/6 coz the ratio is 5:1 not 4:1

Question:
200 litres of mixture contains 15% water and the rest is milk. The amount of milk that must be added so that the resulting mixture contains 87.5% milk is:
Options:
A) 30 litres
B) 35 litres
C) 40 litres
D) 45 litres
E) None of these
Solution:

Quantity of water in the mixture = 15/100 * 200 = 30

Quantity of milk in the mixture = 200-30 = 170

As per Question,

(170+x)/(200+x)*100 = 87.5

X=40 liters

Do this way:

Quantity of water in the mixture = 15/100 * 200 = 30

Quantity of milk in the mixture = 200-30 = 170

As per Question,
(170+x)/(200+x)*100 = 87.5
X=40 liters
