why not option E is correct? (Question: 107775.0 )

why not consider squire of 2.5 as a squire of 3
(it is approximation question)

Question:
Directions : What approximate value will come in place of the question mark ? (You are not expected to calculate the exact value).


? = (2.5)2 × 15.003 + 25.78

Options:
A) 100
B) 120
C) 130
D) 145
E) 160
Solution:

? ≈ 6.25 × 15 + 26

⇒ ? ≈ 93 + 26

⇒ ? ≈ 119 ≈ 120

Approximation is used to resolved complexity of expression.............Not in these simple expression....if 2.9 or 2.8 had then we can consider it as 3 but not of 2.5.............
