3-5 SLAB MEIN 2 KAHA SE AGYA?

Question:
DIRECTIONS:Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.

There are seven lecturers A, B, C, D, E, F, G teaching seven different subjects Physics, Economics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and History. Their annual salary is divided into three salary slabs. 3-5 lakh, 6-8 lakh & 10–13 lakh There are three persons only in the salary slab of 10-13 lakhs. F earns 12 lakh. B and G earn lower than F’s salary in the same slab. D earns more than only one person who teaches Economics. The person who teaches Chemistry earns more than the one who teaches Geography and their total annual income is 15 lakh per annum in the same slab. There are two persons only in the salary slab of 3-5 lakhs. The person who teaches History earns lower than F and higher than the one who teaches Biology in the same slab. F does not teach Physics. The total annual income of G & A and B & E are 17 lakh and 19 lakh respectively. The difference between the annual income of D and C is 2 lakh.

Who amongst the following earns double of D’s annual income?
Options:
A) E
B) G
C) C
D) A
E) F
Solution:
Ans: (b)

Slab of 3-5 lakhs only Two person

slab of 10-13 lakhs only three person

slab of 6-8 lakh only Two person

F earns 12 lakh.

B and G earn lower than F’s salary in the same slab. Thus B or G earns either 10 or 11 lakh. F,B and G belongs to slab of 10-13 lakhs.

The person who teaches Chemistry earns more than the one who teaches Geography and their total annual income is 15 lakh per annum in the same slab. Thus who teaches Chemistry earns 8 lakh and who teaches Geography earn 7 lakh both are belong to slab of 10-13 lakhs.

The person who teaches History earns lower than F and higher than the one who teaches Biology in the same slab. thus who teaches Biology and earn 10 lakh and who teaches History and earn 11 lakh.

If Total annual income of G & A = 17 lakh. Thus G= 10 and A= 7 lakh.

If Total annual income of B & E= 19 lakh. Thus B=11 and E=8 lakh

F does not teach Physics thus D teaches Physics and C teaches Economics.

The difference between the annual incomes of D and C is 2 lakh.

D earns more than only one person who teaches Economics.

Thus D= 5 lakh and C earn 3 lakh.

Remaining subject Maths teaches by F. Now final arrangement as follows.
