Solution:

Ans: (e)

From equation I,

x4 - 227 = 398

x4 = 398 + 227

x4 = 625

x4 = (+ 5)4

x = +5

From equation II,

y2 + 321 = 346

y2 = 346 - 321

y2 = 25

y2 = (+5)2

y = +5

∴ No relationship can be established.

x also will be equal to +5 and -5 and y=+5 and -5..


Hence, No relationship can be established....



Note: x^4 = 5^4 and x^4 = (-5)^4


Both equations give the same...Thats why x = +5 and -5....
