you have mentioned only % sign for both the entities.... plz change one into "!"

Question:

DIRECTIONS:  Symbols represent time in a clock as:

‘$’ – Either the hour or minute hand of clock at 6

‘@’ – Either the hour or minute hand of clock at 10

‘%’ – Either the hour or minute hand of clock at  7

‘!’ – Either the hour or minute hand of clock at  8

‘&’ – Either the hour or minute hand of clock at 9

Example: %! – 35 minutes 8 hours: First symbol represents minutes and the second symbol represents hours.

The distance between two stations P and Q is 110 km; A train with speed of 20 kmph leaves station P at % am towards station Q. Another train with the speed of 25 kmph leaves station Q at % am towards station P Then, at what time both trains meet?

Options:
A)

$

B)

@

C)

&

D)

!

E)

None of these

Solution:

Ans: (b)

d = 110 km, t = 8 -7 = 1hr

a = 20 kmph;

b = 25 kmph

T = (d + tb / a + b) = 135/145 = 3 hrs

Trains will meet at 7:00 + 3 hrs = 10:00 AM
