how X is positioned opposite to J . it is also possible to sit opposite to M.

DIRECTIONS: Read the following information carefully and answer the questions that follow.

14 cartoonists are sitting in two parallel rows containing seven people each in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row-1, G, H, I, J, K  Land M are seated (but not necessarily in the same order) and all of them are facing south. In row-2, S, T, U, V, W X and Y are seated (but not necessarily in the same order) and all of them are facing north. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement, each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row.

I.  The one who faces H sits third to the left of V. V does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line. S sits second to the left of V. 

II. The one who is facing T sits third to the right of G. T does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line.

III. Only one person sits between G and I. 

IV. K is an immediate neighbor of neither I nor H. 

V. The one who is facing W sits second to the left of L. L does not face X. 

VI. M is an immediate neighbor of K.  U faces to L .

VII. Two person sits between Y and U. Y sits immidiate right of W

VIII. M sits second to the left of G.

Which of the following is true regarding S?

Options:
A)

Both T and W are immediate neighbours of S

B)

C)

Only one person sits between S and U

Solution:

Ans:(d)

The one who faces H sits third to the left of V. V does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line. S sits second to the left of V.   Only one person sits between G and I. The one who is facing T sits third to the right of G.  M sits second to the left  of G. T does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line. 

Therefore,  G can’t sits  extreme left  or  just next to extreme left of row- 1 

Thus

  

M is an immediate neighbor of K.   The one who is facing W sits second to the left of L. L does not face X. 

Therefore  L sits immediate right of G.  Remaining person J sits immediate right of H and faces X because U faces to L  and Two person sits between Y and U.
