how can total number cards be 36? isnt this 40? also 36+12=48 which is 4 less than 52 cards.

Two cards are drawn at random from a pack of 52 cards. What is the probability of getting one card as numbered card and another as face card?

Total numbered cards = 36

Total face cards = 12

Probability = [36C1 x 12C1] รท 52C2 =   72221
