Solution:
Ans: (c) Number of females in D, E and F together 

= [(1/3)x(12/100) + (2/5)x(20/100) + (3/8)x(16/100)]x36000

= 6480

Number of males in D, E and F together 

= [(2/3)x(12/100) + (3/5)x(20/100) + (5/8)x(16/100)]x36000

= 10800

Required % = 6480/10800 x 100% = 60%
