please provide question no 69 in simple and clear way solution

Question:
If two pipes function simultaneously, the reservoir will be filled in 6 hours. One pipe fills the reservoir 5 hours faster than the other. How many hours does the faster pipe take to fill the reservoir?
Options:
A) 8 hrs
B) 10 hrs
C) 12 hrs
D) Cant be determined
E) None of these
Solution:

Let the faster tap fill the tank in x hrs.

∴ slower tap fills it in (x + 5) hrs.

Now, both taps fill the tank in  \(\frac{x(x+5)}{x+x+5}\)  = 6 hrs.

So, x = 10 hrs.

Let the reservoir be filled by faster pipe in x hours. Then, slower pipe will fill it in (x+5) hours.

.'. 1/x + 1/(x+5) = 1/6
=> (x+5+x)/(x(x+5)) = 1/6.
x^2 - 7x - 30 = 0
=> (x - 10)(x +3) = 0
x = 10
