Symbols are mis-interpreted (Question: 156164.1 )

First and Last clue is given the same symbol i.e '+' is given for two relations which is mis-leading...last '+' must be replaced by '/' symbol.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Read the information carefully and answer the following questions.


• If ‘A + B’ means ‘A is the father of B’.

• If ‘A × B’ means ‘A is the sister of B’. 

• If A $ B’ means ‘A is the wife of B’:

• If ‘A % B’ means ‘A is the mother of B’.

• If A \(\div\) B‘ means ‘A is the son of B’.

Which of the given expression indicates that M is daughter of D?
Options:

Solution:
Ans: (b) 

Here, we will try with each option. 


Here, we do not know the gender of M, so relation cannot be established.


Here, D is the father of M and T. and M is daughter of D. So, relation can be established.
