Question:

DIRECTIONS: In each question below, there are two or three statement followed by three/four conclusions numbered I, II, III and IV, You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follow(s) from the given statements.

Statements:

Only magzines are readable.

Only eatables are magzines.


Conclusions:

I. All readables are magzines.

II. Some readables are magzines.

III. All readables are eatables.

IV. All eatables are readables.

Options:
A) Only I and III follow.   
B) Only I and IV follow.
C) Either I or II and III follow.
D) Either 1 or II and IV follow.
E) I, II and III follow.
Solution:
Ans: (e) First statement given is Only magazines are readables means readables will come under magazines, because magazines can change,it can be anything else also but readables are only magazines, which means readables are the part of magazines only. so from first statement two circles will form, in which smaller circle will show readables and larger circle will show magazines, which will show readables are the part of  magazines only.Now similarly from second statement which given is only eatables are magazines, which means magazines are the part of eatables only.so three circles will form, in largest one eatables will come. Hence, I, II and III only follw....
