Some authors have expressed a deep concerns on the mismatch among industry needs and business schools’ programmes.

Options:
A)

has expressed deep concerns for the mismatch between

B)

have expressed deep concerns on the mismatch between

C)

have expressed deep concerns as the mismatch among

D)

have expressed deep concerns to the mismatch between

E)

No correction required

Solution:

Ans: (b) The correct answer choice is option (b). Statement (a) is incorrect as it uses preposition ‘for’ which is incorrect, also ‘has’ instead of plural verb ‘have’ since the subject is ‘authors’. Statement (c) is incorrect as it uses ‘among’ instead of ‘between’ as the sentence talks about two ideas only. Statement (d) is incorrect due to incorrect preposition ‘to’ instead of ‘on’. Sentence (b) is grammatically correct.
