Question:

DIRECTIONS: These questions are based on the following information.

In these questions, relation between different elements is shown in the statements. These statements are followed by two conclusions marked I and II.

Statement:

N > E ≤ I = G ≤ H < T

Conclusions:

I. H > E

II. E = H

Options:
A)

If only conclusion I follows.

B)

If only conclusion II follows.

C)

If either conclusion I or conclusion II follows.

D)

If neither conclusion I nor conclusion II follows.

E)

If both conclusions I and II follow.

Solution:

Ans: (c)

From the given statement,

N>E \(\leq\) l=G \(\leq\) H<T

Conclusion I, H> E, does not follow.

Conclusion II, E = H, does not follow.

But both are contradictory to each other.

Either I or II follows.
