give me all solution

Question:
A sells a good to B at a profit of 25% and B sells it to C at a profit of 20%. If C pays Rs. 1125 for it, what was the cost price for A?
Options:
A) Rs. 700
B) Rs. 725
C) Rs. 750
D) Rs. 775
E) None of these
Solution:

Let A = x

C = \(\frac{100+20}{100}\)× B = \(\frac{120}{100}\)× B

B = \(\frac{100+25}{100}\)× A = \(\frac{125}{100}\)× A

C = \(\frac{120}{100}\)×\(\frac{125}{100}\)× A

C =\(\frac{120}{100}\)×\(\frac{125}{100}\) × A

i.e. \(\frac{120}{100}\)×\(\frac{125}{100}\)× X = 1125

 x =\(\frac{1125×100×100}{120×125}\)= Rs. 750/-
