here you are considering 10% from the 570 litres i.e 57 but the total amount of the mixture is still same after replacement which is 600 L, because every time the 10% is replaced from the overall amount of the mixture as mentioned in question.
Please explain.

Question:
From 600 litres of pure milk, 10% is withdrawn and replaced by 60 litres of a mixture that contains 50% milk. If this operation is carried out for a total of 4 times, what is the final quantity of milk as a percentage of the initial quantity of milk approximately?
Options:
A) 75.6
B) 82.8
C) 80.5
D) 89.7
E) None of these
Solution:
Ans. (b)  From the pure milk, 60 litres of milk is removed and is replaced by a liquid that contains 30 litres of milk.

Therefore, total amount of milk in 600 litres of mixture is 570 litres.

Now 57 litres is removed and 30 litres more is added. So, 27 litres is removed

Therefore, total milk left at the end

= 600 – 30 – 27 – 24.3 – 21.87 = 496.83 litres.

Required % = 496.83/600 x 100% = 82.8%
