solution different from what is asked (Question: 123658.3 )

i think the difference between boys is calculated here instead of girls as asked in question can you verify

What is the difference between the number of girls in Institute B and the number of girls in Institute E?

Solution:

Sol: (e) Number of girls in Institute B

= \(\cfrac{35000\times22\times1}{100\times2}\)

= 3850

Number of girls in Institute E

= \(\cfrac{35000\times14\times1}{100\times5}\) 

= 980

Required difference = 3850-980 = 2870

= (35000×22×11)/(100×20)
= 4235
Number of girls in Institute E
= (35000×14×1)/(100×4)
= 1225
Required difference = 4235-1225 = 3010
