Seven persons – S, T, U, V, W, Y and Z – are from different cities and know different languages and play different games. One of them is from Pune.

The person from Kochi knows Odia and plays golf. The one who knows Bengali  does judo. The one who knows Urdu is from Jaipur and plays hockey. The person from Mumbai knows Punjabi. The person from Surat does archery. Z who is from Kolkata, does not do boxing. T knows Kannada. The persons who know Punjabi and Kannada do archery and cycling but not necessarily in that order. Y knows Marathi. U knows Telugu and he is from Hyderabad. W and Y do diving and play hockey in any order. S is not from Kochi.
