relation may be establish in Q No.32 (Question: 89082.1 )

x= 11/3 or 2
y= 11/5 or 2
there can be relation like x>=y
how can it be no relation

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In the following questions, two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and mark the appropriate answer.

I.  3x2 - 17x + 22 = 0


II. 5y2 - 21y + 22 = 0
Options:
A) If  x ≥ y
B) If x ≤  y
C) If  x > y
D) If x < y
E) If relationship between x and y cannot be established.

Given answer is correct...
Compare now,

3.6>2.2 means x>y
3.6>2 means x>y
2<2.2 means x<y
2=2 means x=y

Here all the three inequalities occurred which not possible.....Thats why you can establish relation between x and y....
