If a student spends 10% more on study hours than the time allocated at presents, and this additional time is taken from the time allotted to relaxation, what is the difference between the new time allotted for study and relaxation in a day?

Solution:

Ans: (d) Present allotment:

Study:  150°360°×    24 = 10 hrs

Relaxation:  30°360°×    24 = 2 hrs

After change:

new time for Study: \({10\%of10+10} = 11hrs\)

Relaxation: 2 – 1 = 1hrs

Required difference = 11 – 1 = 10 hours
