I am unable to understand the solution .could you clarify in detail how 10 cube and why these value divided by 2.5.

Domestic consumption = Production – Exports

Per capita consumption = (Domestic consumption)/Population

What was the population of the state in 2014?
Options:
A) 1.52 lakhs   
B) 1.56 lakhs   
C) 1.61 lakhs   
D) 1.66 lakhs   
E) None of these   
Solution:
Ans: (b)
The population of the state in 2014 was \(\cfrac{(510 - 120) × 10^3}{2.5}\)   = 1,56,000.
