question no. 45 mock test 5 (Question: 125338.0 )

question is wrong because in the solution it is given (25)raise to the power 2*2.7 but in the question it is (25) raise to the power 2.7

Question:

DIRECTIONS: What should come in place of the question mark (?) in the following question?

(25)2.7 × (5)4.2 ÷ (5)6.5 = (25)?

Options:
A) 1.55
B) 4.55
C) 6.25
D) 1.8
E) 2.4
Solution:

Ans (a) (25)? = (25) 2.7 × (5)4.2 ÷ (5)6.5 

(5)2 × ? =  (5)2 × 2.7 × (5)4.2 ÷ (5)6.5 

⇒ (5)2 × ? = (5)5.4 × (5)4.2 - 6.5

= (5)5.4 × (5)-2.3 = (5)5.4-2.3

⇒ (5)2 × ? = (5)3.1 ⇒ 2 × ? = 3.1

∴ ? = 3.1/2 = 1.55
