Question:

DIRECTIONS :- Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.

Eight persons – A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H – attended a conference in the months of January, February, March, April May, July, October and December but not necessarily in the same order. Each one of them likes different Chocolates viz., Kit-Kat, Munch, Perk, Dairy Milk, 5Star, Milky Bar, Snickers and Bournville but not necessarily in the same order. They had born in the same month of different years i.e. 1969, 1972, 1978, 1981, 1989, 1997, 2000 and 2005. Their age is considered as on the same month of 2018.

E was born earlier than G. The one who likes 5 Star attended conference in the month having less than 31 days. There are eight years gap between age of E and age of D. H is nine year younger than C. There is only one person between A and the person who likes 5 Star. The one who likes Perk attended conference immediately before A. C attended conference immediately after A. Only two persons attended conference between C and B. G attended conference in that month which has less than 30 days. F attended conference immediately after G.

Only one person attended conference between A and the who likes Dairy Milk. B is 17 years older than F, who is 8 years younger than A. A does not like Milky Bar. The one who likes Kit-Kat attended conference immediately before the one who like Bournville.E does not like Perk. The person who likes Milky Bar attended the conference in the month having less than 31 days. G is born in even number year, but not born in the year, which does not divisible by 4. The one who likes Snickers attended the conference immediately before the one who likes Milky Bar. H was born before 1981. D and H don’t like Dairy Milk and Perk respectively. The one who has born in 1997 does not like Snickers.

Which of the following Chocolates is liked by C?

Options:
A)

Kit-Kat

B)

Dairy Milk

C)

Milky Bar

D)

Bournville

Solution:

Ans: (d)

Age of all Persons:

1969 (49), 1972(46), 1978(40), 1981(37), 1989(29), 1997(21), 2000(18) and 2005(13).

G is born in even number year but not born in the year which does not divisible by 4 (1972 or 2000). G attended conference in that month which has less than 30 days. E was born earlier than G thus G born on 2000 year. F attended conference immediately after G.

The one who likes 5 Star attended conference in the month having less than 31 days. There is only one person between A and the person who likes 5 Star. Only one person attended conference between A and the who likes Dairy Milk.

The one who likes Perk attended conference immediately before A. C attended conference immediately after A. Only two persons attended conference between C and B.

The one who likes Snickers attended the conference immediately before the one who likes Milky Bar. H is nine year younger than C. H was born before 1981. Thus H=1978 and C=1969. There are eight years gap between age of E and age of D. D and H don’t like Dairy Milk and Perk respectively. E does not like Perk. B is 17 year older than F (1989), who is 8 years younger than A (1981). The one who likes Kit-Kat attended conference immediately before the one who like Bournville.
