The solution is not right.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: The following pie chart represents the time management of a student in a day (24 hours per day). Study the pie chart and answer the following questions.

  

If the transportation time is reduced by 30 min., and that time is spent for sports, then approximately what percentage of the sleeping time is the time allotted for sports on that day?

Options:
A)

38%

B)

36%

C)

42%

D)

44%

E) None of these
Solution:

Ans: (c) 30 min =  30°24×60°×360°    = 7.5 °   

Required change =  [(30°+7.5°)]90°×    100 = 42%
