for the given question another arrangement as , RPSTQWX , is also possible with an entirely different set of solutions

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Study the following information carefully and answer the given questions:

Seven people P, Q, R, S, T, W and X are sitting in a straight line facing North, not necessarily in the same order.
R sits at one of the extreme ends of the line.
T has as many people sitting on his right, as to his left.
S sits third to the left of X.
Q sits to the immediate left of W.
Q does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line.
If all the people are made to sit in the alphabetical order from right to left, the positions of how many people will remain unchanged ?
Options:
A) Five
B) One
C) Three
D) Two
E) None of these
Solution:

Sitting arrangement according to given information is as follows:

R S P T X Q W

Now, arrangement according to alphabetical order from right to left is as follows:

X W T S R Q P

Hence,position of Q remain unchanged.

its given in the text that "S sits third to the left of X".....but your arrangement violates this condition...Hence, your arrangement is wrong...so please read the given text carefully and arrange accordingly....which will give you the right arrangement...Don't read the text superficially because probably it makes confusion and finally we get wrong arrangement....
