DIRECTIONS: Answer questions based on the following information.


The 11 players of the Indian Cricket Team that won the T20 World Cup are lined up in a row from left to right to be introduced to the President of India. The arrangement is as follows:

I. The captain of the side is in the middle of the row. The wicketkeeper is at the start of the line-up.

II. Dhoni and Sachin are to the left of the captain.

III. No player stands between Robin and Yuvraj and Mohit and Ajay.

IV. There are seven players between Robin and Dravid.

V. Gautam stands to the immediate left of Ishant.

VI. Ishant and lrfan are immediate neighbours of Srinath.

VII. Dravid and Irfan are to the right of the captain.

VIII. There are six players between Sachin and Srinath.

IX. In the past Dravid as well as Dhoni have played as wicketkeepers. One of them would have been the wicket keeper during the World Cup.

Ans:(e) Since the players are standing from left to right, and the wicket keeper and captain are at the start and center of the line-up, we get:

Thus, there are five people each to the right and left of the captain.

Consider statements V and VI as they mention people standing next to each other. Since Gautam stands to the immediate left of Ishant, and Ishant and lrfan are immediate neighbours of Srinath, their arrangement is:
