If the number of students in the institute was 23,348 in 2014, how many students were there in 2012?

C) 21,000
D) 22,000

Solution:
Number of students in 2012 = \(\cfrac{23,348}{1.09×1.02}\) = 21,000

23348*100/109*100/102
but when we solve this we end up with 21000.179888469
On approximation we get 21000
