question is wrong it is given 2003 in place of 2004

Question:
Study the following table carefully and answer questions given below:  

Number of Candidates Appeared (A) and Qualified (Q) in an Exam from Various Institutes over the years.


What is the difference between the number of students appeared but not qualified in the exam from  Institute W in the year 2003 and the number of students appeared but not qualified in the exam from the same Institute in the year 2004?  
Options:
A) 8
B) 12
C) 16 
D) 20
E) None of these.
Solution:
Reqd. difference= (1400 – 1310) – (1316 – 1218)= 90 – 98 = 08
