when m>q>z why
m>z is false

Question:

DIRECTIONS:  In these questions, relationship between different elements is shown in the statements, These statements are followed by two conclusions.

Give answer

Statements:  P > M > Q, Q > Z > N

Conclusions:

I. M ≥ Z       II. N <P

Options:
A)

Only Conclusion I follows.

B) Only Conclusion II follows.
C) Either Conclusion I or II follows.
D)

Neither Conclusion I nor II follows.

E)

Both Conclusions I and II follow.

Solution:

Given that,

P >M >Q .....(i)

       Q>Z>N .......(ii)

On combining the statements (i) and (ii) we get

P >M >O >Z >N

Conclusions I. M > Z (false)    II. N<P (true)

So, it is clear that only Conclusion II follows from the given statements.
