why did you eliminate the second case?

Question:

DIRECTIONS: Read the given information and answer the following questions.

Nine persons- F,K,L,M,O,P,Q,R and T are sitting in a circular manner all facing towards the center. Distance between them increase in consecutive multiples of  any number  in clockwise direction.

Distance between L and M is 15 m.  K sits second to the left of F. T is immediate neighbor of M but not L. Equal number of people sit between T and L & T & P. Distance between P and L is 54 m when counted from left of P. Only one person sits between L and M. Q is to the immediate right of P. F is not the immediate neighbor of P and Q. Difference between L and K is 6 m. R and F have more than two people between them.

What is the sum of distance between M&T and T & Q in a clockwise direction?
Options:
A) 52
B) 40
C) 45
D) None of the given options is true.
Solution:

Starting from the information of L and M will help us in making the arrangement more easy and approachable. Now that we are aware of both L and M’s position and distance between them i.e 15. Now T is not sitting with L will and difference of T and L being equal to will land us two cases where the position of K being second to the Left of F will help us eliminate one case.

Now that we are aware L and K has distance of 6m, and L and M 15 will lead to distance between K and M being 9. i.e now we can see that difference between the persons is 3, Now we will easily write down the distances between all the people and Last statement of R and F will help us complete the whole arrangement.
