Options:
A) 11.33%
B) 11%
C) 21%
D)

9.09%

E)

13%

Solution:

Suppose the person bought 11 × 10 pencils.

CP of 110 pencils = \(\cfrac{10}{11} ×110 = \unicode{x20B9} 100\)

SP of 110 pencils = \(\cfrac{11}{10} ×110 = \unicode{x20B9} 121\)

its correct...

Cost price of 11 Pencils = Rs.10

Cost price of 110 Pencils = Rs. 10*10 = Rs. 100

Selling Price of 10 Pencils = Rs.11

Selling Price of 110 Pencils = Rs. 11*11 = Rs. 121

The man purchases 110 Pencils for Rs.100 and sales them for Rs.121

Hence, the profit is 21%
