Solution:
Ans: (a)


∠ B = 180° - ∠ A = 180° - 2∠ 1

In ∆ ABX,

∠ 1 + ∠ 2 +∠ B = 180°

⇒ ∠ 1 + ∠ 2 + 180° - 2∠ 1 = 180°

⇒ ∠ 1 = ∠ 2

⇒ AB = BX ⇒ 2BX = 2AB

⇒ BC = 2AB ⇒ AD = 2AB
