The health ministry has approved major expansion/ of post-graduate seats in key departments of AIIMS/ to address the severe dearth of/specialists across the country.

Options:
A) The health ministry has approved major expansion
B) of post-graduate seats in key departments of AIIMS
C) to address the severe dearth in
D) specialists across the country.
E) No error
Solution:

Ans: (c)

Part (3) has error. Instead of 'to address the severe dearth in', it should be 'to address the severe dearth of'.

Dearth (noun) means a scarcity or lack of something.

Eg: There is a dearth of evidence.
