if'R' is greater thn or equal to 'N'...why not N=R

Question:
DIRECTIONS: In the following questions, the symbols @, ©, $, # and * are used with the following meaning as illustrated below:

‘P $ Q’ means P is neither smaller than nor equal to Q

‘P @ Q’ means ‘P is not greater than Q

‘P * Q’ means ‘P is neither greater than nor smaller than Q

‘P © Q’ means ‘P is neither greater than nor equal to Q

‘P # Q’ means ‘P is not smaller than Q

Now in each of the following questions assuming the given Statements to be true, find which of the Conclusions I, II, III and IV given below then is/are definitely true.

Statements

J $ M, N @ R, R © M

Conclusions

I. N©J

II.  N©M

III. J$R

IV. N*R

Options:
A) Only I, II and III are true
B) Only I and II are true
C) Only II and III are true
D) Only II and IV are true
E) None of these
Solution:
Sol;- (a)

$ = P > Q;    @ = P ≤ Q;

*  = P = Q    © = P < Q

# = P ≥ Q

J > M, N  ≤ R, R < M

∴ J>M>R ≥ N

Conclusions

I. N<J                                  (true)

II. N<M                               (true)

III. J > R                              (true)

IV. N=R                              (false)

when we have R>=N then R>N and R=N independently can't be true.
