OPEC HAS 13 MEMBERS (Question: 108663.0 )

Why Indonesia is not being counted though it is a member in 2016?

Question:
Choose the correct statements :-
Options:
A) There are 13 members in OPEC
B) It is a group of world’s major oil-exporting nations
C) The headquarter of the organization is in Vienna, Austria
D) All of the above

Solution:
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is a group consisting of 13 of the world's major oil-exporting nations. OPEC is a cartel that aims to manage the supply of oil in an effort to set the price of oil on the world market, in order to avoid fluctuations that might affect the economies of both producing and purchasing countries.
