A sum of Rs.370 is to be divided among A, B and C such that


Then A’s share (in Rs.) is :

Options:
A) 240
B) 120
C) 100
D) 90
E) 80
Solution:
Ans: (d) 

Suppose A’s share = Rs.3k, B’s share = Rs.4k

and C’s share Rs. \(\unicode{x20}\cfrac{16}{3}k \)

According to question

\(\therefore\) A’s share \(=\cfrac{9}{37}\times370=\unicode{x20} Rs.90 \)

A:B= 3:4

than A:B:C=9:4:16
now A=9/37*370=90

A/B=3/4 ,B/C=3/4
A=3/4B,C=4/3B
SO,ATQ
3/4B+B+4/3B=370
=>B=120
PUT IN ABOVE EQ
A=3/4(120)
A=90
