C)

D)

E)

Solution:

Ans: (e) From (i), (ii) and (vi), we have the following arrangement,

From (ii), (iii) and (iv), we can say that R cannot be the child of P.

From (iv) and (v), we have the following arrangement.

It is given that S is second to the right of W, this information can be placed in the arrangement only when S is Q’s son and W is P’s child.

∴ Q and U are a married couple and W is the daughter of P.

Thus the daughter of T is V.

The final arrangement is as follows.

The family tree diagram is as follows,

W is the granddaughter of R.
